I need your assistance. I bought a green (team colors green, white panels, red box lining) 60.5 cm c-c 1972 Legnano Roma Olympiade from an italian seller on ebay. He dutifully shipped it but it went missing at the UPS Terminal in South San Francisco. It has been missing since 11/5.
This bike appears to have had the stem and the seat changed out, but otherwise it had period correct nuovo record components.
If any of the list members in the San Francisco area or elsewhere hear of this bike coming up for sale I'd appreciate hearing about it. I'm bummed. This was to pay homage to my first racing bike which was a Green Model 54. I literally out grew that first Legnano (it was a 57cm - I need a 60 c-c to 62 c-t, now).
Any help that you can offer would be appreciated. Rolling Stones song is going on in my head "You can't always get what you want............"
