For the record, "Roll Britannia" which Dan Artley mentioned in connection with my name, was my Yahoo Group dedicated to British roadsters and club machine which was deleted for no reason or warning by Yahoo oh about four years ago. We had all of the Raleigh parts catalogues, manuals etc. uploaded, colour charts etc. All vanished.

My connection with "Retro Raleighs" is limited to articles I contributed to Sheldon Brown on the Raleigh Clubmans and Lentons.

Finally, I have uploaded a detail from a photo showing the factory spec'd placement of a S/A trigger control on drop 'bars:
