Hello David + List,

in case you're not able to find the requisite 30 year old adjusters either in NOS or used, you still have an alternative. Not sure if you

meant this by "new parts", but the adjusters Campagnolo made on their

modern brakes up until, but not including, the current skeleton brakes

will fit perfectly.

I've got one old and one modern adjuster in front of me; both fit modern and old NR/SR brakes. The height is the same, the difference ist that the old adjuster has a shorter end to receive the cable housing at the top and is chromed with Brev. Campagnolo stamped on it,

whereas the new Chorus adjuster has a higher head for the housing, is

made of stainless steel, and has no logo. The black rubber ring on both is identical, by the way.

So if that works for you, you should be able to find the modern adjusters quite easily. Prices will vary, I just checked the German Brügelmann website; http://www.bruegelmann-shop.de/

They carry small Campagnolo parts like that. Their prices might not be

indicative, but are as follows: part no. 8733819 "Zugjustierschraube Stahl" = Chorus adjuster in stainless = 5.70 Euros part no. 8733770 "Zugjustierschraube Alu-Superleicht" = Record adjuster in aluminum = 17.80 Euros These are both without the rubber ring, which sells separately: part no. 8338166 "Gummiring für die Justierschraube" = rubber ring =

0.95 Euros
