NOS adjusters are hard to find as they are easily lost and the NOS supplies seem to be running low. I can convert Chorus adjusters into ones that are similar but not exactly like vintage adjusters. I did this with 10x adjusters last summer and sold them as part of the great barrel adjuster giveaway (whereby I sold some things at cost and gave away free rubber barrel adjusters).

Here are the steps :

- file and reshape the heads in a drill chuck. ream them out for ferrules (new chorus adjusters accept raw cables.)

- polish and rechrome these adjusters.

- this takes about an hour each and the results look just like a NOS adjuster but its about 4mm shorter (less threads) and has no writing "CAMPAGNOLO" on the adjuster barrel.

- The good news is that the barrels change from satin to bright shiny chrome because I do a good job of polishing and brush chroming them.

The last time i got the supply of raw adjusters, I charged $10 an adjuster (shipped) but would charge $12 next time. The raw chorus adjusters from the cheapest retail supplier ( airbomb ) are about $6 each.
