In July 1963 I visited relatives in San Jose Calif bringing my Drysdale
track bike along. While there I raced at San Jose , at the Santa Clara
County Veledrome, and was introduced to Pete Rich among others.From him I
bought a 1963 Masi Special Corsa track bike all campy, silk tires etc for
$165.00 .I still have the bike but the origional paint and decals are long
gone and I have only a few pictures of it. I do not know what the :Special
Corsa" meant , maybe Colombus tubing, or Italian lugs, but all the others I
have seen were Masi Special only.If anyone has any more knowledge of the

I still have the bill of sale initialed by Pete Rich, and a Berkeley police
dept. dealer's report of sale.
