<< 1. On the bottom bracket is says "Cinelli" any significance to the year or are all frames that way? Any other places I can look to help identify year? >>

It just means that Mondonico or whoever made that frame (!) bought the investment cast Cinelli BB shell...

<<2. What are the best sources to find a period correct saddle (some of my suggestions were unicantor, selle turbo, concor superleggera) Would an early 90s saddle be the same as an early 80s? >>

You can find all those & more in many places (eBay, bike shops, vintage parts sellers) and many of these saddle designs spanned a number of years. But there were also new models introduced in the 80s by these companies (Super Turbo, etc.) so... You just have to look at original bikes from that period and learn the differences. The "New logo" Cinelli Unicanitors are relatively available and would be about right on this bike....

<<3. What would be your suggestion for brake hoods for this bike as the current ones are "sticky". >>

Natural gum hoods expire/die with use and exposure. This exact hood version (shield logo Campy) is still in the pipe line* but expensive. Euro Asia makes relatively inexpensive & similar hood but no logo and slightly different color and detail (but close!) and many people use these as "rider" hoods. And there are other hoods that fit but do not look similar...

(* Small commercial... We just discovered a small NOS stash of these and are selling them to CRers for $45/pr.)

Thank you to everyone for your responses yesterday! It sounds like my Guerc is probably more like a 78-80 model year than 1973. Couple more questions 1. On the bottom bracket is says "Cinelli" any significance to the year or are all frames that way? Any other places I can look to help identify year? 2. What are the best sources to find a period correct saddle (some of my suggestions were unicantor, selle turbo, concor superleggera) Would an early 90s saddle be the same as an early 80s? 3. What would be your suggestion for brake hoods for this bike as the current ones are "sticky".
Thanks!
