I don't bother admonishing sellers (ebay or otherwise) on their postage and handling charges. If the cost of S&H plus the cost of the item is a bargai n, no problem. If it isn't - well, there's lots of other sellers out there. Those tires could have been a deal for a pair at $0.78 plus $27 S&H. I exp ect that the bids (and bidders) would take the S&H into account.

BTW, I have had nothing but positive experiences with all of the Corpuz fam ily members, including the purchase of many NOS vintage bike parts for rela tive bargain prices.

"Evidently the Cafe de Velo family has a daughter, Nadine, who has been selling on eBay.  She had a pair of tires for auction with a starting price of $0.78, but the fixed shipping price was $27.00, for two 700c tires. I sent her a message suggesting that properly packaged, the shipping would be closer to $5.00."
