Hello. Back on Dec 19, listmember Patrick Garner posted a story about Sa cramento frame builder Steve Rex being injured in a pace line accident, a nd a fundraiser raffle to help him though his recovery. The Sacramento Bee reported the the raffle raised 29,000 dollars, with ticket purchases c oming from all over the country. Steve was amazed at the support he has re ceived from the friends, costumers, and the cycling community. For all the members who bought raffle tickets we can call this our 2008 cycing chr imas story, complete with happy ending when Steve returns to his shop. T hanks again.
