Well, just as the hard decision not to have any more 60's or 70's racers is made, this character called Father Christmas bestows upon me a all 531 bik e, complete with Nervex BB shell, just my size. Branded, of all things, "Be tty".
It purports to be handbuilt, it has been raced over quite a long timespan. The components are an unholy mix, but the frame is definitely nice. Trouble in dating it. If anybody can pin a likely date on it, I'd be most grateful . My guess is 60's. Likely wrong. It might just make a good randoneur.
