Hey Daniel:

I am 98.7% certain it is silver filet brazed... but also it concerns me that whoever is repairing this cannot immediately tell this. Are you sure you have the right person to do this job?

Does anyone know whether the Rigi stainless frames made use of the Alex Singer style one piece headtube and lug? I know that the Rigi appears fillet brazed, but my builder is about to repair my headtube junction and he says that it cannot be a solid silver looking thing, as the Rigi is. Is the frame fillet brazed and then chromed? Seems unlikely considering the discoloration around pretty much ever braze on.

I'd appreciate any and all information please.

Thanks you, Danny Gonzalez NYC USA
