But Campagnolo Crank arms of the 70-80 NR/SR variety are known to fail (fat igue would be the root cause, at least that's what the fracture surface loo ks like). I for one have a broken collar bone to show for it, as well as t he crank arm itself. Once I started talking about back in 1986, I found se veral people with the same failure, same location. I am sure this has been discussed a length many times before. Sorry for the repeat.
