hello List,
I recently purchased a Wilier Triestina from a man who bought it at a yard sale in the late seventies. The bike is complete & I believe mostly original parts that date the frame to the end of early Wilier production (1952 I believe) I know the bike has been repainted and it seems the early bikes were noted for having a copper finish or coating. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about these bikes. I googled & got a short history on the Wilier site but would like to know if any of the bikes were painted originally & if so what were the colors, decals, etc. & if anyone has a head badge in their stash I would love to buy or trade for it. Also I think the rims are not original, they are red label Super champion Competition Arc-En Ciel. Any help or info is appreciated. Thanks from a long time lurker & infrequent poster
