Sabliere was known for his welded and polished aluminum frames, and, sadly, due to this delicate type of construction, for a significant amount of frame failures. These bikes were " look but don't touch" material. The best of them also include custom made stems and handlebars, in aluminium and titanium. He continued manufacture far beyond the CR timeframe and his framesets are readily available from French dealers, on French eBay and other French websites. Due to their fragility, etc., they don't get high prices. Another Sabliere bike, not of the polished type, was recently sold on American eBay for only a few hundred dollars. The most outstanding example I've seen (probably OT) is a Time Trial bike in the Embacher collection.
