Some more rather nice frames this week include a Flying Scot with the very rare c1951 headbadge, an rather unusual Dan Genner Excel, a Mercian which has been recently repainted at Mercians, a Bates Volante track frame, a Mike Mullet track frame, a very pretty Geoffrey Butler road frame with Nervex lugs and a Colnago Master Perfetto.
I have spent quite a bit of time this week checking and overhauling some Sturmey gears - there's quite a selection a K 3spd from the 30s as well as a 2spd fixed, two 4spds (a FM and FW) and a NOS AW. The FM has a number of new parts including a new LH ball cup and ratchet, the part that sometimes breaks... There's a couple of good brake sets - a rare 1940s/50s Lytalloy and a very complete Universal 61 centre-pull. Amongst the Campag there's a mint set of Anniversary brakes and a very good pair of the Anniversary pedals. And there's a pair of Pino Moroni skewers. The Campag Record large flange hubs are the early type with out the Record engraving and these are not common now. And there's a Unicanitor saddle with an excellent smooth black leather top.
I will be leaving for the Cirque next week and can bring items with me to be collected then within reason...
