Subject: [CR]Replacement Italian Frame Needed for Vintage Enthusiast in Atlanta (David Allen)

Listers and Listees,

A friend of mine (Chris Schwartz)?who is a vintage enthusiast and local track racer in Atlanta was involved in a bad crash involving a car that didn't see him last Thursday..? It looks like he may be in for some major dental work and the top and down tubes on his beloved Guerciotti were horribly bent.? Chris is currently looking into having the top tube and down tubes replaced.? I?saw the bike and it looks pretty bad. ? I suggested to him that I try the CR list for a replacement frame.?? A frame that would work for Chris would be 56 cm x 56 cm,??126 mm rear spacing,?takes recessed brakes, ?takes a 27.2 seatpost and has an Italian threaded BB.??Paint condition probably is not that important as long as the frame is road worthy. ?If any CR listers out there might have an Italian frame that meets this spec?to offer for sale, please contact Chris at this e-mail address:?
