I have four interesting frames for offer to CR members. Please remember that other items can normally go in a frame box - even those you buy from me on Ebay. All items are plus shipping - a frame to the USA is $145, to Japan $170, to Australia $200 and within UK $25. With any of the frames I can if the buyer wishes deliver it free of charge to Argos who are only local to me. I would highly recommend their standard of refinishing.

BERNARD LIDDELL TOURING FRAME 1960s 23.5in Prugnat Mafac cantis Offered for sale is a lovely 23.5in (ctt) Bernard Liddell touring frame dating from the 1960s and with a 22.25in (ctc) top tube. It is 120mm across the rear ends. This frame is in its original black finish with transfers which has quite a number of small scratches but which touch up well. It is built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing with Prugnat lugs and has Mafac cantilever braze-on brakes. There do not appear to be any dents and the frame is in very sound condition. Bernard Liddell is one of the very small framebuildrs in the UK and had his shop at Luton just north of London. $145 or near offer Pictures can be seen at: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Liddell-tourer.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Liddell-tourer-dets.jpg

ELLIS BRIGGS INTERNATIONAL 24in c1953 Beautiful Lugs Offered for sale is a lovely 23in ctt c1953 Ellis Briggs frame with a 22.5in ctc top tube and is 118mm across the rear ends. Ellis Briggs frames are very nicely crafted and this one with the top of the range International hand cut lugs is no exception - US framebuilder Doug Fattic learnt some of his skills at Ellis Briggs in the 1970s. This frame has a period repaint but the colour has faded badly. The frame is exceptionally sound with no dents I could find. $245 or near offer Pictures can be seen at: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Ellis-Briggs-Int.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Ellis-Briggs-Int-dets.jpg

CONDOR ROAD FRAME 1953 23in Vic Braysher built lovely lugs Offered for sale is a lovely 23in (ctt) Condor road frame dating from 1953 and with just one previous owner and with a 22.25in (ctc) top tube. It is 120mm across the rear ends. The frame appears to be sound though the top tube has been extensively touched up and and has some dents. It is not well known that Vic Braysher built frames for Condor between 1952 and 1955 - he had a shop near Walthomstow town hall in east London. This frame has some very attractive hand cut lugs which look as if they they were based on some Oscar Egg designs. Early Condor frames are really rather rare. $175 or near offer Pictures can be seen at: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Condor-Braysher.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Condor-Braysher-dets.jpg

ERNIE CLEMENTS ROAD RACE FRAME 23in c1948 Offered for sale is a 23in ctt Ernie Clements road race frame with a 22.25in ctc top tube and dating from c1948. Rear dropout width is 115mm. Ernie Clewments was a contemporary of Percy Stallard and Ernie was heavily involved in the early days of the BLRC, the breakaway club for road racing formed in the 1940s. Like Percy he too had a frame building business and like Percy too made his own range of fork ends which this bike has. This frame is in sound condition but the paint has flaked off in numerous places. A complete Brampton headset will be supplied with the frame. It would originally have been equipped with Simplex gears. I can deliver it free of charge to Argos Cycles for repainting - Argos are in my opinion the best painters in the UK these days. Please see http://www.argoscycles.com/renovation-pricelist.htm for an idea of prices. $85 or near offerPictures can be seen at: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Clements.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Clements-dets.jpg
