I just looked through some old stuff and found the photos of the 1985 line of Viner bikes from the distributor. No fancy brochure, just 4x5 photos. There were only several paint jobs available then from what I recall and I opted for white. The finish job was pretty good as the bottom bracket and headset went on without any problems. The SLX bike has internal top tube rear brake cable routing, while my other Viner has standard routing. The paint has held up well over the years. It would be interesting to see how many Viner owners there are on the list (contact me off list if you respond) since it wasn't one of the more prestigious names. Great bike for the budget mnded and proudly displays it's Italian origin.
