Subject: [CR] Bikes, frames and parts for sale

Hello all,

Sadly, I must begin selling off my small collection of bikes and parts. Most everything is on topic, with the exception of some schwinn stuff. I detest e-bay, so will be offering these things to the C.R list first, before craigslist.

To start with:

1. Medici Gran Turismo frame and fork from '78 or '79. 48 cm S.T. with a 52 cm T.T. It was possibly built by either Brian B. or Rob Roberson. Non original paint, no decals, but I purchased a set of original decals from Simonetti in 1992 when I was at Ibis that will go with the bike. One of the early frames with beautiful long scalloped seat stay caps. Excellent condition. Price is $400 plus shipping. Also includes original Medici stem and h'bar.

2. Medici Pro Strada 55 x 55 original paint and decals with painted to match Silca pump. Will sell complete as built up with Dura Ace 8 speed group (STI) or as frame and fork. Original Medici bars and stem included, but not installed on bike. Beautiful bike, gets lots of comments, my favorite go fast bike. $1500 complete, or $600 frame and fork.

3. Raleigh Competition 1968. 57 S.T. with a 56 T.T. (I'll have to double check those numbers. I'm working from memory on this one.) Dark green paint in lovely excellent condition. This is the early Competition with the graceful curved fork blades. I just finished a complete refurbish job on this one. It rides like a dream. All original except for cables, housing, tires and bar tape. Hmmm, guess that makes it not quite original, eh? $700.

Please contact me off list. I'm agreeable to reasonable bargaining, and all prices do not include shipping. Photos and more details on request. In your communication, let me know if you are a digest subscriber.

More to follow as I catalog and photograph.

Thanks for your time!
