I'd actually be surprised if a Holdsworth bought "big bucks" on ebay. I bought a vintage Holdsworth nearly complete touring bike a couple of weeks ago for $300 and was the only bidder. Of course not a Professional like you mention. Holdsworth frames were turned out in large numbers and don't seem very collectable to me. My wife's 1977 Trek (50cm) only fetched $150 on ebay this week. Times are hard.
