Subject: [CR] For Sale: 1983 50cm Richard Sachs bicycle

Dear Listmembers,

I have for sale a Richard Sachs complete bicycle. This frame was built f or me as a trade for paint services back in about 1983 when I was doing the OEM painting for Richard. It is a complete bicycle which has NR comp onents and includes the Richard Sachs engraved Cinelli stem on the Cinel li VIP set (blue suede leather bar wrap and matching saddle). The pedals are Shimano clipless painted to match the frame. Wheels are tubular rim s.

Color is white frame with royal purple HT and ST panels along with crown and brake bridge. Pedals are also the purple color. The bike is sort of in the back of my bicycle collection at this moment (it's 12:35am right now), but I'll dig it out in the morning and take exact measurements of frame and stem length, etc. and shoot some photos if necessary. I insta lled the internal top tube cable guide myself before I did the original paint job. (The current paint is not the first paint scheme, and I don't remember what I did the first time I painted it. I do remember painting it at one point with a half and half main triangle with polka dots in r everse on each side in maroon and blue and the forks and stays were zebr a stripes in black and pearl white. Needless to say, even I couldn't liv e with that for too long). I think that this frame was the first one to have internal brake cable routing, since I started doing that before Ric hard did.

Price is $3000 for the complete bike as it sits. If you are interested i n just the frame with the VIP kit (bars and stem and saddle) I'll take $ 2000. Take the matching pedals for an additional $50. Shipping extra, o f course.

Any questions, just ask.
