... i just went over some photocopies of some 1938/1939 schwinn literature, and i didn't see any references to an option for chrome ... either in these papers, or on the bike. or "orange" for that matter.

" all steel parts heavily chromium plated and highly polished. dural parts highly polished. frames and forks multi-coated, finest enamels hand-rubbed. colors: ivory, rd, medium blue or black, hair line panel stripe"

... $75.00 big one back then and it's yours :)
