Just completed clean-up of a 1964 Bianchi Competizione purchased last year and posted photos to Wool Jersey. The bike is truly in excellent origina l condition, and was obviously ridden very little by its original owner. I am the proud second owner of this bike.
It had an updated replacement Nuovo Record "PATENT" no-date rear deraille ur that the original owner replaced in 1967, but is now fitted with the cor rect RECORD rear mechanism.
Note the red accent painted/red washer UNIVERSAL 61 Centerpull brakes --- these are the same brakes used on my 1963 Bianchi Specialissima that can a lso be viewed on Wool Jersey. These brakes are typically found with blue accents/washers.
