Subject: Re: [CR] Early 70's Record brake caliper questions

I should have specified "Record" in the subject line and should have mentioned the difference in caliper inscriptions: "Brev. Inter." versus "Brev. Int."

But my questions remain: Are those the only differences? And is there something special about those early calipers that make them more desirable or rarer than other flat qr, "Brev. Inter." marked calipers?

Thanks,

Is there something special about the brake calipers in this eBay auction? http://ebay.com/<blah>

$220 seems like a lot of money for these calipers. I think I've seen similar calipers go for a lot less.

In this later auction, what appear to be later calipers without the flat quick release and with black coated wheel guides go for a lot less: http://ebay.com/<blah>

But are the quick release levers and wheel guides the only differences here?

Thanks for any light shed on this question.
