For those checking out getting reservations at the Best Western, I decided to follow Wayne's advice on this, though not exactly. I attempted to make a reservation for June 5 and 6 on line and received the message that no rooms were available for those dates. Instead of following my usual pattern when such things happen--in this case I could have started to hum "Tenting tonight" or some song like that--I followed Wayne's specific advice and called the Best Western at the number Wayne gave: 703-777-9400. They took my reservation, though prefaced it with asking whether I was with an organization or group. ( I know there is a line from either Groucho Marx or W.C. Fields about any club that would have me as member. . . .) I owned up to being with the Cirque.
