... i did the same bit of park road for a good bit. there was one bump in the back. the steel frames would do a "double-whump-whump" when they hit the first and last seperation in that piece. the trek carbon would just do one "thud" over both. and an even earlier trek alum wouldn't make a sound at all, it was like "butta!". ...of course, when i hit the deer, or was it the park policeman's horse, the steel serrota club special saved the day. ... now if one one wants to rate alum walkers, and fiber walking canes, we can go there too. both have holes drilled/cut in them for those little height spring adjusters, and neither has shown in fatigue there.
