You haven't noticed Simplex jockey wheels from the 70's cracking like they were eggs? They are the worst. If you have one, and it hasn't cracked, it's a good sign it hasn't recently been used. There's something about the plastic compound they used that makes them brittle now. I haven't used many NR derailleurs, but I haven't had the problem with anything but Simplex. Thank goodness for SunTour making theirs the same size.

\r?\n> Any ideas why so many Campy plastic pulley wheels seem to
\r?\n> crack--even when not used? I haven't noticed any
\r?\n> suntour, shimano or simplex? Scott Davis, Twin cities MN,
