Those shoes on the website that Geoff Margetts noted are made by Marressi i n Italy. Bob Freeman tried to import those a few years back but the minimum order was too high.
I use Sidi touring shoes and I like them. Any cobbler can take an old pair of cycling shoes and turn them into touring shoes.
