I'm a complete sucker for Dia Compe Gran Compe (AGC RGC) aero brake levers. To me, they're a lot prettier than the Campy levers. I initially bought a set when they were first on the market in the mid-80's and loved not having brake cables dangling above the handlebars.

Most of the restorations I've done in the past few years involved retrofitting the bikes with the Dia Compe levers. These levers are gettin' harder to find and more expensive. Now I've got a box of Super Record levers, mostly naked as the rubber hoods have disintegrated. Also, I've got a set of Suntour Superbe Pro "Campy Copy" brakes on a mid-80's Trek 760 frame. Great finish and performance.

All that said, I'm still a Campy-holic.
