Subject: [CR] A Bicycle by Louis Nouvet

I read about Louis Nouvet in one of Paul Fournel's essays from "Need for the Bike" and incorporated him into one of my blogs some months back. A man from Lyon, France, e-mailed me and gave me a little more background on Louis. This morning, I opened my e-mail and found another letter from Christophe; this one came with photos which he has allowed me to post on my Flickr site and share with this list.

He wrote in the e-mail: "I found and restored one... and one of the very rare reference to Louis Nouvet was in your blog. So thank you for that. Here are a few pictures of this Nouvet from 1973, tutti Campi and Brooks, as explained in Fournel's book. I bought it from a lady in St-Etienne, just clean (a lot) and changed the bar tape and tubulars. Wheels are Campa Record Hubs and Nisi rims, 4 cross pattern Cheers Christophe (from Lyon, France)"

The photos and e-mail cheered me and I hope they cheer some of you.
