On closer inspection and comparisons with other Model 88 Saddles, I find that the current eBay version is a variation. This Saddle appears to have a different tensioning bolt system...note there are two(2) rivets on top of the nose vs. a single rivet that I found on a more typical 88. Also, the perforations on the top rear of the saddle (production(?) or independent of) are a variation from Standard 88's. A rarity? I have no idea. Just different and not appearing to be my idea of NOS.
