I offered a Ron Cooper for sale some months ago; no takers. So, I
decided to restore it.
If you go to http://www.photobucket.com/louisgate you can see the album called
"original" as it was (select from "albums" menu) and the album called
"revived" as it is now. I think it is coming along nicely. I am doing
it as sort of a randonneur with as few Italian parts as possible.
The re-paint was by Hill Clarke at Airglow in Georgia. Strip, repair
dent, prime, paint, artwork, decals, pinstriping, clearcoat = $595. I
think Hill did a great job. No shipping to California from Florida and
back. Just don't take his time commitments too seriously.
