I agree that the eBay listing for the stainless Crescent is awful. . I am p uzzled by the photos on Mark Bulgier's site however. Is the incredibly bad white lug lining factory? The detail of the silver soldering { what little that can be seen under the lining}, seems to be what I would expect on a fr ame built in this manner. Most frames look much worse pre sand blast , file , polish, paint, etc. This type of construction prevents most of these cosm etic stages from being carried out. The lugs look fairly rough but certainl y no worse than a Raleigh Super Course. I have owned a few lower model Cres cents over the years and found their finishing to be at least on par with o ther "bike boom" models from other builders. And I consider  the paint details on Crescents to often be quite good. Could Crescent have possibly a ttempted to market a premium priced frame with lug lining THAT bad? I have never seen a stainless Crescent in person, are there any other photos on line? Greg Lone Langley B.C. Canada
