Subject: [CR] 1978 Olmo tandem

I won't bore you by telling you again how I bought my tandem at the Olmo factory in Celle Liguria, Italy in 1978. It is a very light Campy Nuovo Record-equipped tandem, as steel-tubed tandems go, and it's fillet brazed (lugless). Some of my friends have said they think it's whippy, but I really haven't noticed that because I'm such a weakling. The last time I used this tandem (maybe 8 years ago), I was riding it with my then 10-y.o. son by using a Burley kiddie adapter. It worked pretty well, actually, but it's a bit of a pain to install and remove. I haven't removed the Burley adapter yet to put the Campy components back on. I'm thinking seriously of trying to sell this tandem someday, and I wonder if I should put the Campy components back on or not in order to sell it?

I will post pictures of the tandem if anybody is interested in seeing it.
