Tom

I feel that I must confess that my first fixed gear bike was a conversion done to a 1980 Gios road bike. It was done for training purposed over the winter of 1981-1982 for training purposes back when it was my only (!) bike.

It was temporary and generated my love for fixed gear bikes of which I bought my first in time for the next winter. I was young (relatively) and appologize for anyone who might have been offended by this. I also naively thought that fixed gear bikes were suitable only for winter training.

But one learns and progresses....
