  I am currently riding a set of Earle Young's Gran Bois special offer   wheels from a couple months ago. I had the frame clearance for   some 28c Gran Bois tires so went for that, too. A big gain in comfort   without sacrificing much if any rolling resistance. It's a classy   look!

Well, the rims are round, they are silver... ;-)

The photos don't show the hook bead, but it is there. I installed a Grand Bois 700C x 30 mm tire on a test wheel, inflated it to 140 psi, and it stayed put. Don't try this at home without proper protection!
