Subject: [CR] "L'EROICA", Rules

This link had been broken since the new rules were announced. So not only can you now check yourself but you can also enjoy some of the explanations I am disappointed at the 15 year old age limit as we have watched a couple of Father/Son teams grow up over the years. I believe the 1987 date with its explanation is quite an expansion on the previous rule.(which I still recall had a 1980 date limit) Also I think there is some jumping to conclusions as to what is now allowed and think internal routing of rear brake cable, Cambio Corsa etc is incorrect. Note they make exception for barend shifters. Giancarlo Brocci who is the Founder of L'EROICA is an avid Cyclist who has ridden PBP and I doubt he would exclude any eligible Bicycles. Plus Sr Tomassini himself was inspecting bikes at least twice in the 3 times I have gone so we can trust him to do the right thing. Maybe Michele can make a better translation from the Italian for us? In the past they would stamp your ''route book'' as to your eligibility for the Historic categories and also cool prizes like wine and food baskets.
