Sorry to have been silent for so long, but I'm still off list. Something I'm looking for as I complete my 1953 Viking Tour of Britain, is an empty bottle for the Pennine inflator. I'd love to find an empty or borrow one so I can machine a slug to take its place. If you're not familiar with them, these were offered in the 1950s version of the Ron Kitching catalogue and were clearly available in the early 1950s. Just imagine, CO2 inflators back then!
