Tom Ritchey of mountain bike fame got his start at Palo Alto. I have a co-branded Ritchey/Palo Alto bike that is fillet brazed and has nice Spence Wolfe touches too. I'd like to find a Ritchey build lugged road frame from that period. I believe mine is from 1980 or so.
