The new Silca Super Pista floor pumps come with a lever-locking presta head, where the lever compresses the gasket on the valve stem. I have been using it for a month or so, and it is easier to remove under pressure than the strictly friction-fit head. Probably not as nice as the Hirame heads, but the functionality is pretty good. Hers is what the new Silca head looks like:

Is anyone familiar with the Hite floor pumps made (once but no longer) in Dayton Ohio? I've heard that the Hite pumps were copied by Silca. They certainly look very similar to the older Silcas The Hite pumps were even orange.
