I have a couple floor pumps ,the oldest is a SKS reservoir pump I have had since 1980. The rubber hose gave up the ghost so I replaced it with 2 meters of Volkswagon 5mm fuel line which will last forever. I also have a SILCA pump which came from American Cyclery in SF (bet they still have some) I have had good luck with it and find the hose to be long enough. I use modern pumps at the bike gym and dont like the thumb lock ends( which way locks the damn end on?)
Silca frame pumps are dependable and I end up loaning mine to poor souls with those short little pocket pumps (sounds obscene) on the Century rides
