I made an error in reading the frame number of my 1970s Coppi when asking i f anyone could help with dating it. The correct frame number is: 01165
It doesn't seem as if there are a great number of these out there, which I find surprising considering the name (they did have something to do with Co ppi at the start, even if Fiorelli made them) and the fact that they are qu ite nice bikes. I think mine is actually a second-tier bike which, being elitist, I would not normally bother with, except that it rides beautifull y and, so far as I can tell from the original equipment left, was well equi pped with Campag dropouts and mostly Campy Nuovo Record equipment except fo r the Galli brakes. If anyone does have a Coppi or Fiorelli, I would be very pleased if they would let me know the serial number and approximate ye ar so that I could compile the information, which I will then be very pleas ed to make available.
