Does anyone know if the plastic-vinyl Mafac brake-lever covers (not half-hoods) will install on most standard drop-bar levers? The ones I've seen are so hardened I'd be hesitant to remove or install. Also, I saw these covers on a UO.8 and wondered if they were usually used on low-end models or could be found hi-end as well. All my higher-end bikes w/Mafac and half-hoods do not or no longer have these covers. BTW, I've only seen them in white.
