Spence Wolf is one of my heros, so there is some disappointment in Kurt's picture (url below). The Spence Wolf conversion uses the same geometrical relationship of pivot to upper pulley as the Gran Sport, rather than the offset used by the Record and NR cages. This probably means that it will have trouble not skipping on a 13 tooth sprocket, a well-known problem with the Gran Sport geometry. Should be ok on a 14, and there are lots of ways to make that do for a touring bike. Just can't use our favorite half-step with a 13 - 31 FW and 40/45 chainrings, or 42/47.
