Once again the FatMen group from New Jersey will be hosting a 30-mile ride through Pennsylvania farmlands this Saturday after the velodrome swap meet.
We will meet around 1:00 in the small parking lot by the vendor's entrance with a depart time of 1:15 or thereabouts. Look for the guys in red/white/black jerseys with the unique rider (i.e., Fat Man) silhouette on the front & back.
Bring any era bike, but be sure you have gearing for climbing. Although the route is primarily rollers, there is one rather long and steep climb. Average pace last fall was 15 mph.
Current forecast from weather.com for Saturday is slight chance of a thunderstorm. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s.
