I have American Classic 27.4 posts as well as Campy. As I have said many times in the past the normal 531 seat tube is much happier with a 27.4 post than a 27.2, thus the crushed seat lug ears on so many English bikes and their lack on Columbus tubed bikes, which are happy with 27.2s. Waterford is the only builder I know of that supplied 27.4 post with their 531 bikes. Phil Brown I've got both 27.2 and 27.4 reamers in Oakland, Calif.
