Subject: [CR] For Sale:Late 70's cyclone cherubim track bike with durace 10pitch!

Hello fellow listees, in preperation for getting ready to move to New York this fall for graduate school I am doing some serious house cleaning, trying to raise funds and lighten my load. Therefore the 1st things to go are the unfinished projects and the bikes that get the least use.  A few months ago (right after nahbs) I posted photos of my cyclone cherubim track frame to my flickr account. From what I have been told the frame is from the late 70's but I am not exactly sure. The Dura Ace decals on the seat tube look from that era.  The frame has no dents, the paint is in pretty good condition, the chrome could be better in some areas, in others it is fine. The frame is 52cm c-c both top tube and seat tube. It has period correct headset and bottom bracket. I will also include a period correct Dura Ace seat post size 26.8 (the correct size for this frame naturally). Pictures of the frame are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34409296@N02/3512576647/in/set-72157615095072997/

I was planning on building this with a dura ace 10pitch gruppo which I purchased mostly complete from another list member. The gruppo has cranks, hubs, chain and 14 tooth cog and 49 tooth chainring, there should be ample amount of chain for this set up. I am also including an extra cog and lockring. The cog is a 15 tooth with the 10pitch sized teeth, however it has the threads to fit a standard dura ace hub. (Thus if you had a set up of regular dura ace track wheels, you could swap them and ride those with the 10pitch drive train). Photos of the gruppo and the frame are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34409296@N02/3513290682/in/set-72157617779810215/

For the whole kit and kaboodle $1300.00 (Shipping via fed ex ground insured INCLUDED!) or Frame fork headset: $1000.00 (BUYER PAYS ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING) or just Dura Ace 10pitch gruppo: $350.00 (BUYER PAYS ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING) I would prefer to sell this all together, but if someone just wants the frame, and someone else just wants a 10pitch gruppo I will accomodate that. I lastly just want to stress that I do not know for sure the history of this frame, but it is very unique. Lots of custom touches, as well as a hand painted Y.Konno on the top tube. I cannot know for sure that he actually painted this himself, but it is there, its not a decal. One might imagine that this was his bike! (How tall was he? anyone know what size he rode?)   I will have a table at T-town on saturday with mostly off topic crap, but I can definitely deliver this there for free. I might bring it along to show off, but if the weather is bad it will stay in the van. Any questions email me and I will do my absolute best to answer them.  regards, Isaac SchellPhiladelphia PA
