Hi Jeroen,

Sometimes this works: Loosen the caliper mounting nut, squeeze the brake tightly to the rim using the brake lever, set the mounting nut tight enough to hold it in place, and then slowly and carefully tighten it down the rest of the way. Sometimes this leaves it right where you need, but other times, the brake will still jump to the side once used again. There are also the 13mm tool flats on the side of the center bolt, which allows the use of a tool for centering, after the brake mounting nut has been tightened. Sometimes there is no room to apply the tool because, the headset for example, gets in the way. You can use the tool upside down, applying it from the underside of the caliper. Sometimes this requires removing the wheel first, positioning the tool, re-installing the wheel, and then adjusting as normal. This last tip only works when using an offset angled tool, like the one Park makes, specific for this purpose of adjusting brake position. That's about the end of my little amateur hints ... good luck!

Hi,

I'm facing problems adjusting my campa record ('75) brakes. The side pull side ends up against the rim and stays there. I have recentered the brake and also played a little with the two front bolts.

Anybody got some proper instructions to help me out?

thanks
