Hi, Clem. If the Holdsworth unit is like a Ken Rogers/Bob Jackson axle the drive gear unit slides onto the axle. The axle has tapered flats that keep it from turning.

Does anyone know if the peice on the drive axel that the gear is screwed to is pressed onto the axel or is it threaded.
