I have a 1973 or so Super Course that is all original and in good shape. But I have a bad creek from the bar/stem and want to change the stem as I am a bit suspicious of the older GB stems failing (I have seen them crack at the split).
Does anyone have one in good shape they would be interested in selling? 90mm to 110mm would be fine. I am looking for the old style with the GB logo on the side and the hex bolt. Oh, and 22.2mm
And finally, are these stems known for trouble or were they strong?
