Subject: [CR] High Gear closing, now Boulder shop

For the record I wish to say that Mike Kone's shop, Rene Herse Bicycles, is NOT the Boulder pro shop that I alluded to in my first posting. Furthermore, I don't intend to identify the shop by name. They have done other work for me that was satisfactory including wheels built with metal rims. Those wheels were fine. I consider the bad experience an unpleasant pothole in the road and not a reason to totally condem the shop in question.

My intent was to praise the mechanics at High Gear. She had no experience with wood rims and did an excellent job. The wheels now have 100 miles on them and are perfect. The previous set of wheels with wood rims that I refered to lasted 10 miles.
